Queensland has the highest rates of melanoma in the world, yet for too long the fight against it has been fragmented - brilliant research happening in silos and funding stretched thin across disconnected efforts. QMI changes that.

We're the first port of call for everyone in the melanoma ecosystem - a trusted voice, a connector, and a force pushing the boundaries of prevention, treatment, and cure.

The PA Research Foundation is a trusted Queensland charity that has supported the Princess Alexandra Hospital and its research community for over 40 years. Established in 1984, the Foundation is a statutory body under Queensland's Hospitals Foundations Act 2018 and has contributed around $300 million to medical research, patient support, state-of-the-art equipment and staff education.
